Sad to Leave
I don`t even know where to begin besides saying that Kids R Kids was beyond a blessing to my family. We had just moved to Midlothian and had a horrible experience with day care prior to our move. We had gone on tours of other facilities and were just let down over and over again. When we walked into Kids R Kids I was immediately blown away. Being a very picky parent for cleanliness, organization and education this was exactly and everything we wanted and expected! Brooke was wonderful from the moment we met her and I immediately called my family bragging about this place! We were so lucky to be able to have our son attend Kids R Kids for the last year and a half and are just devastated by having to leave. Every teacher he has had has been so wonderful and caring. The fact that I can check up on him while sitting at work has been perfect for my wish to be with him during the day. Chris and Deborah are just the heart of this amazing place and couldn`t be more kind and caring! We just can`t thank Kids R Kids enough for everything they have done for us, the peace of mind they gave us over the last year and a half and for the love they gave my son. We couldn`t have asked for more and will miss you all tremendously!

What a Blessing!
Upon moving to Midlothian, we were so excited to discover that the childcare options were seemingly endless! Endless indeed. Five deep into our visits and tours, it was just becoming exhausting and discouraging. Were we ever going to find the right place for our two young boys? Were our expectations too high? Were we being too finicky? It was then, on a stop at WaWa`s, I noticed the sign for Kids r Kids and then I caught a glimpse of the building. Wow, brand new! It must be expensive. Despite my being convinced this place would probably be out of our budget, I called for a tour. While my husband waited in the car with one sleeping baby, I made my way into the building. The facility itself is exceptional. A few things that I let out an internal whoop of joy over: 1. Security - The building is locked down at all times and you have to be buzzed in to the entrance where a couple of staff are seated behind a desk to greet you. 2. The colors are bright, bold and it gives an immediate kid-friendly vibe that seems to say - this place is fun! 3. Technology - Computerized check in monitors and live stream videos of the classrooms playing on the overhead flat screen TV`s. Very cool. I was greeted by Brooke Phinney and she led me through a tour of the rest of the school, with specific stops in the classrooms that the boys would be in. My initial impressions... 1. Brooke was extremely knowledgable in discussing the curriculum and the overall learning philosophy of the school. 2. The entire facility - floors, classrooms, and playgrounds included were so clean! 3. Happy and active children and friendly, smiling teachers. 4. Brooke informed me that each classroom, cafeteria, library, and playground has webcams. Parents can login online to watch their children play throughout the day. It was during the tour, that I had actually made up my mind that THIS was it. I knew the boys were going to love it and I knew we were going to feel comfortable bringing them here. Now, there was only one hurdle left to overcome. I said a silent prayer as Brooke wrote down the pricing and held my breath. Surprise! It was affordable! Even more so than some of the other facilities we toured, which were far less impressive. I let out another internal scream of joy and ran outside and told my husband, "we have to wake up Jackson. You have to see this place!" Whereupon, Brooke graciously gave a second tour to my husband. And of course, he was as thoroughly impressed as I was. I can tell now, one year later, Kids r Kids has well exceeded our expectations. The boys have learned and grown so much, both on an academic and social spectrum. They have been surrounded by teachers who are kind, loving, and are enthusiastic about teaching! The owners, Deborah and Chris, have a true love and passion for their school and for the families that encompass it. Without hesitation or reservation, I would recommend Kids r Kids to any parent searching for more than just a child care facility. It is truly a school in every aspect of the word - from the teachers and learning environment, to the cafeteria, to the library, to the playgrounds - and even the school pride! Your children will thrive in this environment, just as mine have. Kids r Kids has been a blessing to our family and we`re thankful to be a part of the Kids r Kids family. David and Tiah Cotoni

First Time Mom Struck Gold with Kids R Kids
My journey for finding a place for my unborn son to call a “home away from home” began when I was five months pregnant. I had mistaken day care establishments for the most part as being identical to each other and any differences would be minuet. I thought that all places that took kids in treated them with love and respect and kept their establishments clean and orderly; during the course of interviewing various places for my child I was rudely awaken by just how naïve I truly was when it came to day cares. There were establishments my husband and I ventured into while I was pregnant that we liked, but there were some we ran from after walking in the front door (O.K., so my husband ran, I waddled quickly). Where we live we had over 7 day cares to interview (keep in mind, you are interviewing them, they are not interviewing you); the list included places such as Goddard, Prime Rose and Kids R Kids. I instantly felt at home when we came into Kids R Kids, and that was very important to me as this was to be my child’s “home away from home”. The staff treated each person that came through the front door like family, but treated the kids there as if they truly were their own. Though they won’t love your child to the degree in which you love them, they come pretty darn close to it. The fact that the owner’s are out in front meeting and greeting the kids and their parents every day in the morning and in the evening and learning everyone’s name is a far cry from some of the other places that wouldn’t even talk to my husband and me unless we had our check book out and were ready to sign up our son that day. The first time they greeted me with a “Good Morning Mrs. O’Donnell. How’s Rylan doing today?” I was taken back. You know me? You know my son? You mean we aren’t just a paycheck to you? I knew that my decision to send my son to Kids R Kids was by far the best choice for my family. The thing is you have to trust where you send your kids because with them goes your breath each time they leave your arms and your line of vision, knowing my son is with Kids R Kids I am able to breathe easier. (The fact that they have online video cameras so you can see your kids, help to the keep the mother in laws at bay as well…just saying.)

The Best Car
My name is Lauren, and I currently work at Kids R Kids in Midlothian. I have to say this is the best facility I have ever worked at. The teacher show so much love towards each one of the children. I can truly say that I love coming to work each day. I find it so amazing that the owners Deborah and Chris are so personally involved with all the choices made. They truly want to make your child feel at home and like they are one of their own. I work here so I know I am "Supposed to say its wonderful here" but on a Personal note, this is not just a daycare we are all family here, all the staff love your children as much as you do. There is no better facility that Kids R Kids at Midlothian. This is such a lovely environment which also allows your children to grown!

Great Care
Our daughter has been attending KrK for almost a year, since she was 8 weeks old. She loves going there in the mornings which makes us happy to take her each day. The teachers in each of her classes has provided great care for her and the management is helpful at quickly addressing any concerns or requests. We have confidence that KrK is a loving and caring facility for all of their children.
